Sunnyside Lutheran Retirement Village offers single rooms with built-in wardrobes, a private ensuite, TV and telephone points and a nurse call system across our whole facility with several different views of the surroundings. The average room size is 18m² excluding the ensuite.

All the rooms have access to common features/areas such as a dining room, a chapel, an activities and games room, a shop, small and private sitting rooms, a library, a pool table, a private dining room, a hairdressing salon and tea/coffee-making areas for visitors. Outdoor features include an undercover seating area, a garden trail walk, a well-cared-for garden, a water feature, raised garden beds, single-hole mini golf, a barbeque and pergola and a dementia garden. There is also access to banking, post and public telephone facilities.

Room costs

All of our rooms at Sunnyside Lutheran Retirement Village are priced the same at $540,000.  We recognise that everyone’s financial and personal situation is different and for this reason residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit (lump sum), a daily payment (invoiced fortnightly), or a combination of a partial lump sum and daily payment.

If your income and assets are over a certain amount, you may be asked to make an accommodation payment that you agree with the home. Otherwise, the Australian Government will pay for part or all of your accommodation costs. The Department of Human Services will advise you if you are required to make an accommodation payment.
