Room costs

Sunnyside Lutheran Retirement Village recognises everyone’s financial and personal situation is different. Our rooms are grouped into three different amenity levels. Depending on the level you choose, the maximum price (accommodation payment) you may be asked to pay upon entering Sunnyside is between $375,000 and $536,380. Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit (lump sum), a daily payment (invoiced fortnightly), or a combination of a partial lump sum and daily payment.

If your income and assets are over a certain amount, you may be asked to make an accommodation payment that you agree with the home. Otherwise, the Australian Government will pay for part or all of your accommodation costs. The Department of Human Services will advise you if you are required to make an accommodation payment.
